Hi Everyone,

Very sad, but I have to let you know that it will be our last raid tonight. I do hope that as many of you as possible will be able to get on line to make this a good celebration of what Apex has been as a Guild.

I know many of you have tried hard to keep the Guild going over the past few months, and I do appreciate your effort and your loyalty to me and the Guild. With a falling server population, so many small guilds for the 10 man content, and an influx of players new to WoW and without good raiding experience it has become an impossible task to recruit the players we need to make a viable and fun raiding team.

But let's remember all the great fun we have had together and the wonderful friendships we have made over the past rollercoaster of a year. From our flying start in TBC, clearing 4/5 in Mount Hyjal and 5/9 in Black Temple - we even had dreams of reaching Illidan before the Lich King came along!

We went into Lich King knowing many players who were alts would be off and away, yet we cleared Naxxramas on 10 man inside 6 weeks of the expansion. With a successful merge with Asharah's guild we then had the team for Naxx 25, which we cleared in just 17 days. Our most painful boss pre-Ulduar has to be Makygos, oh my the wipes, but we got it in the end and were one shotting him on 10 and 25 for many weeks.

It seems that many players lost interest when Ulduar came along and this did destabilise the great Naxx team we had been experiencing and made it tougher than need be when we got into Ulduar. But we still managed to clear 5/15 on 25 man and 10/14 on 10 man.

I'm sure we all enjoyed the raids with Epic Fail and Stone. It is especially a shame that even with Stone guild along side us we still could not be in a position to guarantee 25 man raiding. At least we got the first two down on ToTC 10 and 25.

I would like especially to thank everyone who stayed loyal to Apex through some difficult times, and I'd like to thank you all for your warm friendship and support when it was needed, oh, and for all the laughs we've had along the way - let's not forget the fun we have had!

As many of you know, I will be taking Geiela and Gennai off to Silvermoon server, however, this doesn't mean I'm disappearing completely. I'll still have Elheni on Darkspear and I'll come and do a few heroics with you from time to time.
